Anna 'Bonnie' Powless, age 72, of Salem, died Monday at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. She was a retired caregiver of the Pentecostal Faith.

Funeral services for Anna Banita 'Bonnie' Powless will be held at two Saturday afternoon at the Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem, with Larry Woodward presiding. Burial in the Martin Cemetery in Alma. Visitation from five to seven Friday night at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

'Bonnie' Powless is survived by her husband Richard Powless of Salem; two daughters: Sheila Stanford and husband Brett of Salem and Lisa Trowbridge and husband Danny of Lemars, Iowa; six brothers: Bill Mansker of Centralia, Bob Masker and wife Barbara of DuQuoin, Dan Mansker of California, Denny Mansker of Salem, Ronnie Mansker and wife Sharon of Kinmundy and Mike Mansker of Kinmundy; four grandchildren: Richie Latch, Amanda McIntosh, Shannon Garney and John Trowbridge; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

'Bonnie' Powless was born on May 5th, 1945 in Thebes to Gordon Mansker and Anna Jo (Adams) Mansker. She married Richard Powless on January 6th, 1963 in Salem.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Rose Mary Logue and two brothers: Gordon 'Skeeter' Mansker and Jake Mansker.
