Dorothy Newton “Bobbie” Cochran, 88, widow of Francis Harvey Cochran, of Pendleton, passed away surrounded by her family, October 23, 2017.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late John Wesley, Sr. and Mattie Moore Newton.
Bobbie was a member of Pendleton First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Cathy Gray (Tim), of Clemson, and Jill Dawson (John), of Chattanooga, TN; six grandchildren, Wesley, Scott, Lynnze, Noah, Jarod, and Courtney; a sister-in-law, Jennie Cochran Taylor, of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and loving husband of 62 years, Bobbie was preceded in death by her siblings, J.W. Newton, Jr., Mary “Pat” Harper, Edith Walker, Ruth Hazelwood, and Grace Gager.
Burial in Graceland Cemetery, West.
