A Woman of Strength and Power

Gisela Williams has gracefully entered into a new life.

Born in Breslau, Germany to Richard and Martha Sagan on 5 January 1924 and passed on 26 June 2015 at the age of 91.

As a German refuge survivor during World War II, she never gave up her will to survive the terrible hardship of that time.

During the post war era, she met Jesse Alvin Williams, the man who became her husband, soulmate and life long partner till his passing in 1968. She was asked at one time why she did not re-marry. Her response was this, “When you had the best that God gave you.....no one would ever top it”.

She was a strong willed, lover of Christ and a tough old school German that would never back down. Yet her love for everyone shown throughout her life. She was the ultimate Mother, grandmother, educator, disciplinarian, peacemaker, preacher, schooled in the fine arts which was passed down to her children.

She was blessed with three children; Alvin R. Williams of Tacoma, Gabriele Meyer of Germany, and Cornelia Martha Pia Fox Williams-Deceased. And was exceedingly blessed with several precious grandchildren and great grandchildren which she said, “My life has now been fulfilled”.
