Mr. Jerry Don Carr, husband and best friend of Cheryl Carr, was born on June 18, 1938, in Seminole, OK, and passed away of liver cancer on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at the age of 79.
He was employed by Fresno Irrigation District for 44 years. He mostly enjoyed going camping, hunting, fishing and collecting antique cars. He also enjoyed his old German Shepard, Chawabee, who passed away this last August.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lottie Carr; and sisters: Norma Thomas, and Wanda Rosebrough. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Cheryl Carr; son, Kenneth Carr; daughters, Cheryl Wells, and Paula Berenda; step-daughter, Tracey Epstein; sister, Ynema Nixon; former wife, Judith Turner; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Wallin's Fowler Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Washington Colony Cemetery District in Easton, CA, on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at 10:00 a.m.
