Professional Basketball Player. He played the point guard position for both the Philadelphia Warriors and the Syracuse Nationals of the National Basketball Association from 1954 to 1959. He played basketball collegiately at the King's College in New York and was drafted by the Philadelphia Warriors with the 68th pick in the 1951 NBA Draft. Before he could play basketball professionally, he served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After the war, he played for the Warriors from 1954 to the 1958-59 season when he was traded to the Syracuse Nationals. He played for the Nationals for the rest of the season before retiring after the 1958-59 season. During his career he was a part of the 1955-56 NBA Championship-winning Philadelphia Warriors team. His career stats included 1,574 points, 1,125 rebounds, and 711 assists. After he retired from basketball, he worked for Roosevelt Paper Company for 47 years.
