Jordan T. Johnson, 15, of Sherman, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015, at Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center in Sherman, after an off-road four wheeler accident.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Tuesday evening, December 22nd, at Dannel Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, December 23rd, in the Dannel Chapel. Pastor Larry Norrell, of Fellowship of North Texas in Anna, will officiate.
Interment will follow in White Mound Cemetery in Tom Bean immediately afterward.
Jordan was born December 12, 2000, in Sherman, TX, to Anthony Johnson and Beth Thurston.
He was currently attending S&S High School, where he was a freshman. He loved basketball, and played on the freshman team in school.
Jordan is survived by his father, Anthony Johnson and step-mother Lindsey Harrison, of Southmayd; mother , Beth Thurston, and step-dad Christian Sephton, of Sherman; brother, Ryan Christopher Thurston; sisters, Shelby Lynn Luster and Kynzlee Johnson, of Van Alstyne; grandparents: Claude and Janet Johnson, of Southmayd, and Sue Ann Thurston, of Sherman; great-grandparents Bobby and Rosa Ham, of Tom Bean; uncle Josh Thurston, of Arkansas; aunt Becky Johnson, of Sherman; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of friends.
