Steve was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and spent his life serving in many capacities. He served a mission in Stockholm, Sweden from 1966-1969. He was a member of the Layton 5th Ward bishopric and the Layton Holmes Creek Stake Presidency. He and Annette also served in the Ogden Temple. Steve had a deep love of the gospel and his testimony of his Savior remained unshakeable throughout his life. His example inspired and uplifted all those who knew him.

Steve received his Bachelor's degree from Weber State University in Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
