SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Edward "Ed" J. McCormick, age 74, of Schenectady, passed away on Friday, October 20th 2017 at his home.
He was born in 1943 in New Haven, Conn., he was the son of the late Clarence and Catherine McCormick.
He was predeceased by one brother; John McCormick.
Ed spent his early life in Saranac Lake, N.Y. before leaving to serve in the U.S. Army.
He worked as a Bus Driver and Transportation Shop Steward for the Shenendehowa School District for over 30 years, and was an Assistant Technology Teacher at Shen.
He volunteered in the Honor Guard of the Saratoga National Cemetery.
He retired from the N.Y. Army National Guard in 2004.
Arrangements by the Catricala Funeral Home Inc. on 1597 Route 9 in Clifton Park, N.Y.
Burial will be at the Saratoga National Cemetery.
