Mrs. Otto Carlson (Anna Marie Josephson Carlson), 73, of Stanton, died Wednesday afternoon, September 9, 1953, at the home of her daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brown, two miles southeast of Villisca, where she had been 10 weeks. She was bedfast tree weeks previous to her death.
Funeral services were held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Sellergren Funeral Home in Red Oak and at 2 p.m. at the Lutheran Church in Stanton, conducted by the Rev. Francis Johnson of Stanton. burial was in Mamrelund Cemetery at Stanton beside Mrs. Carlson’s husband who preceded her in death four months.
