Ronald L. Seil, the son of Laurence and Evelyn Seil, was born Jan. 31, 1952 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Ron attended school at East Union High School in Afton. Ron worked in Iowa, Nebraska and Arizona as a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence and Evelyn Seil of Lorimor; and a brother-in-law, Robert W. Jamison of Winterset.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Seil of Chandler Ariz.; children, Shane Seil of Lake City Iowa, Corey Seil of Chandler, Michaelle Kirtron of Ogden, Iowa, and Amy Seil of Chandler; brother, Larry Seil of Macksburg; sister, Barbara Jacobs of Winterset; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends
