Funeral service for Heather Nicole King, 39, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Scotty Alexander will officiate.

Heathers family has arranged for cremation immediately following her services. All arrangements have been entrusted into Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder Thursday, October 26, 2017, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2. Heather was an LPN for four years. She worked at Allen Parish Hospital for three years. She was currently employed by the Allen Parish Sheriff’s office and worked at the jail. Heather was an animal lover. She was very outspoken, had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed making people laugh. She loved her nieces and nephews. Heather also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish Heather’s memory include her father, Floyd “Shorty”; husband, George King of Kinder; one brother, Zachery Royer of Sulphur; and one sister, Maggie Royer of Sulphur.

Heather is preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Royer.
