Mr. Morris Glen Brown, age 78 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 2:30 PM at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 20, 2017 with burial to follow in the McKendree Chapel Church Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY. A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son of the late Jay Brown and the late Leslie Owens Brown. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Brown, a sister Joyce Rippy, 2 brothers Arnold and Wayne Brown. He is survived by his daughter Kellie Rogers (Shawn) of Franklin, KY.; 4 sisters Dorris Vick of Russellville, KY., Shirley Harris (Jim) of Franklin, KY., Nancy Brown of Old Hickory, TN. and Donna Brown of GA.; 3 brothers Charles Brown (Linda) of Oak Grove, TN., Paul Brown and Darryl Brown both of Franklin, KY.; 3 granddaughters Allison, Emily and Hannah Rogers; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Brown was a salesman for numerous retail food services and a member of the FS Bass Club. He loved fishing and hunting. Visitation will begin Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM until service time at Gilbert Funeral Home.
