BESSIE MAE "Betty" MOORE, 95, of Williamsport, Md., passed away on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at Julia Manor Hagerstown, Md. She was born on June 29, 1922, in Williamsport, Md., to the late William Walter and Lyda Mae Staley Teach. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordan Alfred Moore in 1992.

She was a 1941 graduate of Williamsport High School, Williamsport, Md. She was employed by Fairchild Aircraft as a Rosie the Riveter until her retirement. Betty was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Williamsport, Md. She was a past member of Red Feather Council #59 Degree of Pocahontas, Williamsport, Md., and Potomac Post #202 American Legion Auxiliary, Williamsport, Md.

She is survived by her niece, Jennifer Kallas; nephews, K. Randy Teach and Joseph E. Teach; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Beulah V. Keller; and two brothers, Kenneth L. Teach and Ronald R. Teach.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Williamsport, Md. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport, Md. Arrangements by Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport.
