Dwight C. Cason, 66, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 7, 1950 to James Harry and Redetha Bath Cason and lived in this area all of his life. He was a US Army Veteran and retired from the civil service at Ft. Stewart. He was a bus driver for Tattnall and Evans County for many years. He loved to hunt, fish and farm; owning and operating Beards Creek Farms for over 40 years and Effingham Produce in Springfield for 7 years. He is preceded in death by, his parents; sister, Catherine Weathers; brothers, Jolly, Robbie Lee, James and Kyle Cason.
He is survived by:
Wife, Kathy Cason of Glennville
Children, Ronnie Cason (Rhiannon) of Hagan
Curtis Cason of Glennville
Granddaughter, Carolyn Cason
Brothers, Larry Cason of Glennville
Roger Cason of Springfield
Sisters, Virginia Bragg of Midway
Juanita Williams of Glennville
Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Beards Creek
