Heaven gained an angel as Marjorie Johnson was called home. Marge passed away at the age of 83 on Friday, October 20, 2017. She passed peacefully after battling Parkinson’s disease and kidney renal failure. She was surrounded by her family as she drifted off to sleep. Words cannot express how much she will be missed.
Marge was predeceased by her parents, Stella and Russell and her sisters Yvonne Neal and Ruth Payne.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 64 years, William (Bill) Johnson. Their continuing love for each other is magical.
She is also survived by their children, Linda and her husband Mike Donlon of Rowlett, TX, Joyce and her husband Dirk Ten Eyck of McKinney, TX, Sheri and husband Kelley Wood of Leander, TX and Jim and his wife Jonni Johnson of Garland, TX.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 26 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 27 at Restland Funeral Home. Burial at Restland will follow. The family will gather at their family home in Garland after the burial and friends are welcome to join us.
