Jane F. McDonald, age 82, of Orange, entered into eternal rest on May 19, 2016 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was the devoted wife of the late Daniel McDonald and died on the thirtieth anniversary of his death. Jane was born in Waterbury on June 16, 1933, daughter of the late Timothy and Kathleen (McGee) Ferris and the favored niece of the late Alice McGee. Jane grew up in Waterbury and graduated from Crosby High School and Katherine Gibbs School. Jane married Dan on February 16, 1957 and shortly thereafter moved from Middlebury to the Black Rock Section of Bridgeport, where she raised her family. When the children were grown, Jane entered the workforce, first doing tax returns for H&R Block before getting her Connecticut real estate license and working as an agent for numerous agencies in Fairfield.
