AGE 60 YEARS
Vincent M. Russo Jr. of Nahant, formerly of Acton & Scituate, passed away, Oct. 19, 2017.
Son of Vincent M. Russo, Sr. of Boynton Beach, FL & the late Judith H. (Delany) Russo. Brother of Andrea Lordi of Fitchburg, MA, Joan Russo of Marlborough, MA, Frederic "Ted" Russo of N. Haledon, NJ, Ellen Boardman of Townsend, MA; his wonderful friend John of Marblehead, MA.
A former Acton resident and graduate of Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, Vin earned a degree in Special Education from Fitchburg State College. He spent more than 25 years as a teacher at the Perkins School for the Blind, and before that, worked with developmentally challenged adults in group home settings. He loved his work and his students, and was dedicated to helping each one of them learn, grow and achieve their full potential.
Interment of the urn in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Great Rd. (Rte 117) Maynard.
