Angela was born November 16, 1931 in Sabetha, Kansas to Carl and Johanna (Willenborg) Lueske. She grew up in Horton, Kansas and moved to Kansas City, Kansas. On May 26, 1951, Angie married William E. Porter. She was a homemaker, taking excellent care of her family. Angie also played a pivotal role in the upbringing of family friends' children and the care of elderly friends and neighbors. In her free time, Angie enjoyed quilting, crocheting, baking pies and anytime she went to a dinner party, she took her famous salad.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Johanna; husband, William E. Porter, and brother Joseph Lueske. She is survived by her siblings, Hildegard Harvey, Ann Stutz, Francis Lueske, Paul Lueske, Raymond Lueske and Agnus Huonker. She leaves behind to carry on her legacy, her children, Donald Porter and his wife, Barbara, Patricia Porter-Gill and her husband Pritmohinder, Rose Smith and her husband, James and Phillip Porter and his wife, Denise; grandchildren, Christopher Michael Smith, Calie M. Smith, Sikandar Porter-Gill, Morgan Arms, Adrienne Arms, Kyle Arms, Kevin Porter and Christopher Porter and one great-grandchild, Charles Dean Arms.
