He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Faye Scott.
Graduate of Tarrant High School.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Faye Scott; his son, Jackie Pois Scott, Jr. (Vickie); 2 grandchildren, Ashley and Austin Scott; and other extended family.
The family will receive friends from 1-2, Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral will follow in the chapel at 2:00, Dr. Randy Atkinson officiating. Entombment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
