Barbara was a resident of Saint Marys, Georgia at the time of passing.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 24th at 10:00 am at Allison memorial Chapel in St. Marys with Salvation Army Chaplain Chris Powell officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.

Barbara Ellen Castleberry, 66, of St. Marys passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at her residence. Barbara was born August 10, 1951 in Fort Gaines, GA, and was the daughter of the late Elbert and Margaret Carter.
She is survived by her husband, Gene R. Castleberry of St. Marys; four sons, Jason A. Castleberry (Katherine) of Watkinsville, GA, Douglas R. Castleberry, David W. Castleberry, and Robert E. Castleberry, all of St. Marys; sisters, Marion P. Carter of Kingsland and Deborah Ann Carter of St. Marys; brothers, Carl R. Carter of Arlington, GA, Eddie B. Carter of Baconton, GA, Allen L. Carter of St. Marys; grandchildren, Alexis Brooke Castleberry, Sophia Rose Castleberry, and Ryan Elizabeth Montgomery; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 24th at 10:00 am at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys with Salvation Army Captain Chris Powell officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family requests Memorial Contributions be made to the Salvation Army Church in Brunswick. Allison Memorial Chapel and Funeral Home of St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.
