After graduating from University of Tennessee at Martin, Alan worked for InSouth Bank for 33 years. Then after retirement he became the Director for the Haywood County Parks and Recreation Department. He was a longtime member of Brownsville Baptist Church. He also was very involved in the community serving on numerous Boards and Committees.
He was preceded in death by his father: Mr. Harry Franklin Callery.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Bentley Callery, Brownsville, TN, his son: Robert Callery and his wife, Brandi, Jackson, TN and his mother: Mrs. Jan C. Callery, Brownsville, TN.
