Mr. Alan Franklin Callery age 58, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017 at his residence in Brownsville, TN. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Brownsville Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Harmony Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Monday, October 23, 2017 from-4:00 - 7:00 P.M. in the Brownsville Baptist Church.

After graduating from University of Tennessee at Martin, Alan worked for InSouth Bank for 33 years. Then after retirement he became the Director for the Haywood County Parks and Recreation Department. He was a longtime member of Brownsville Baptist Church. He also was very involved in the community serving on numerous Boards and Committees.

He was preceded in death by his father: Mr. Harry Franklin Callery.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Bentley Callery, Brownsville, TN, his son:  Robert Callery and his wife, Brandi, Jackson, TN and his mother:  Mrs. Jan C. Callery, Brownsville, TN.

Memorials may be made to the Harmony Cemetery towards the fence restoration fund, c/o Carol Edmonds, 3050 Hillville Rd., Whiteville, TN 38075 or the Kirkland Cancer Center, c/o West Tennessee Healthcare, 620 Skyline Dr. Jackson, TN 38301.
