Freda Vannoy Woods, 104, of Massillon passed away, Monday, Oct. 16, 2017. Freda was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on Oct. 13, 1913.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gaius and Sarah (Fanny) Vannoy; loving husband, Charles Woods Sr.; brothers, Deward, Glen, Gaylord, and Junior; sisters, Madlie, and Dessel; son, Donald Glovas, and grandson, Steven Huff. Freda was survived by her children, Mary Miller, Charles Woods, Jr., Nancy Huff, Oma Leeson, Faye Rose, Deward Woods, and Terrie Gearhart; 30 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren, and 58 great-great-grandchildren.

Freda was a member of Anchor Baptist Church. She was a devout Christian, a woman of extraordinary faith and a vibrant beautiful soul. She was very dedicated to her family, and is loved dearly and will be missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.

Calling hours and funeral service will be held at Arnold Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE Massillon, OH 44646. Calling hours will be Friday, October 20th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 21st at 11:00 a.m., burial will follow in Brookfield cemetery.
