Mrs. Young was born in Glenwood, GA and had lived most of her life in East Dublin. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dollie Rogers Pope; son-in-law, Phillip Tucker; brothers, Sentell Pope and Jack Pope; and sisters, Allene Arneson, Lela Warnock, Ouida Bush, and Cleo Fulford. She was retired from J.P. Stevens/Forstmann, East Dublin, and attended East Dublin Assembly of God.
Services will be held in the Union Baptist Church, East Dublin, at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 22, with Reverend Hugh Spivey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
A visitation will be held at the church one hour before services.
