Amy Pamplin Woodard, age 63 of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Amy was born on August 7, 1954 in Fayetteville to William Alexander and Jeanne Lindsay Pamplin. She had worked at the UT Extension Office in Franklin for ten years and as a Legal Secretary for James L. Woodard and Associates. Amy was a member of Decherd Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her dogs in her spare time. Known for her smile, laughter, and humor, Amy will be remembered for her love of people and how people loved her...She could walk into a room and make the room light up. Amy is preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Pamplin; uncle, Frank H. Lindsay; and her paternal and maternal grandparents. She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Woodard of Franklin; mother, Jeanne Pamplin of Winchester; sister, Catherine Pamplin Seigenthaler of Nashville; and niece, Lindsay Seigenthaler of Richmond, VA. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 PM Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Michael Bradley and Rev. Phil Falk officiating. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to "We Help Animals" Animal Health Care, P.O.
