July 15, 1949 - October 19, 2017 Bobby Lee Combs, 68, of Berea, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at St. Joseph East Hospital Lexington due to complications from a stroke. He was a resident of Berea, born July 15, 1949 at home on White Lick Road in Garrard County to the late Dilce Colonel and Euna Lamb Combs. Bobby was retired Kentucky State Highway Department employee, former employee of Eastern Kentucky University, a Kentucky Colonel and member of the Holiness faith.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years Eula Crane Combs; 2 daughters, Regina White (James), Robin Combs; 4 grandchildren, Willie Begley, J.T. Begley, Katelynn Begley (Josh Laws), Ben Begley; 2 great-grandsons, Eddie Begley, Luke Collins; 6 siblings, Billy Embree, Dale Embree, Paul Combs, Wayne Combs, Oscar Combs, Betty Rothermil (Michael Hurley) and a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving dog and faithful companion, Bella.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his in-laws Steve and Mary Ballinger Crane; siblings, Donald Ray Combs, Dilce "Junebug" Combs and Mary Jane Combs.

Pallbearers are James White, Willie Begley, J.T. Begley, Katelynn Begley, Josh Laws, Ryan Combs, Michael Rothermil. Honorary pallbearers are Floyd Potter, Scott Boswell, Tyler Combs, Phillip Combs, Josh Rothermil, Johnny Combs, Jimmy Hensley, Billy Seals, Benjamin Begley, Amanda and Jason Wingfield.

Visitation Monday, October 23, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Funeral Service 11:00 am Tuesday, October 24, 2017 both at Reppert Funeral Home with Rev. William Willis, Rev. Dwight Northern, and Rev. Charles Whittamore officiating. Burial will follow in Pilot Knob Cemetery.
