NAMPA — Graveside services for Wayne Rice, 70, who died Saturday at a Weiser hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kohlerlawn Cemetery by the Rev. Joseph Housh, Nampa First United Methodist Church. The cortege will leave Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa, at 1:45 p.m.
He was born in July 1907 at Raft River, and attended schools in Gooding. He moved to the Nampa area in the mid-1930s and had lived in Weiser for the past two years. Surviving are two brothers, Clyde of Nampa and Earl Rice of Pocatello. He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
