She graduated from Lakers High School in 1962. She worked at Main Street Café, she cleaned homes and was well known for her roadside produce stand. For Wanda family was above everything else. In her youth she helped raise her siblings, later her own children and then her grandchildren and her four legged family, Lulu. She enjoyed having her family around her, making family meals, teaching them how to make bean soup, picnics and traveling to see family and friends. Whenever she met someone, she made a new friend.
She is survived by her children Nicole of Pigeon, Shawn (Caitlin) of Pigeon and Chase (Tara) of Elkton; grandchildren Austin (Daisy), Brodie, Savannah, Hunter, Hailey, Leila, Cecilia and Cole; siblings Diane (Dale) Gardner of St. Joseph, Mike (Jennie) McCain of Pigeon, Jack (Dawn) McCain of Bay Port, and Kay (Jim) Nieschulz of Pigeon; and many nieces, nephews and the Ruby Family. She was preceded in death by her grandfather John McCain; brother Tom McCain; the father of her children Robert Webber Jr.; and extended family Ila and Clifford Ruby. Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at River's Edge Church, Caseville, with Rev. John Gunden officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at church. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Pigeon Library or Thumb Animal Shelter. Condolences may be shared at www.ChampagneFuneralChapel.com
