By the time she was 4 years old, Allie had migrated with her family from California to Clackamas County, Oregon where they were enumerated in the 1880 US Federal Census.
On 22 October 1902, Allie was joined in marriage with Thomas H Dunphy in Baker City, [Baker Co.] Oregon. No children were born to this union. On 5 September 1925, Thomas preceded Allie in death while the couple was living in Rochester, [Olmsted Co.] Minnesota.
Shortly after the passing of her husband, Allie returned to Oregon. She lived in Portland for a brief period of time where she worked in a beauty parlor. By 1935, Allie had settled into the Woodburn area and this is where she lived the rest of her days.
On 20 December 1944, Allie was united in marriage to Thomas Dayton "Grandpa Jack" Symmonds. To their union, no children were born. He also preceded Allie in death on 1 July 1950.
Allie passed away on 27 October 1959--just eight days after her 83rd birthday--after being admitted to a hospital in Salem the day before. A funeral service was held for her in Woodburn at the Ringo-Cornwell Chapel on 2 November 1959 at 1 pm and she was subsequently laid to rest in the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
