She moved to Hamilton, Montana at age 16, she lived and worked there until 1950, she then moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho where she married Marion Garner. From this union came one daughter Saundra Lee who passed away 23 Mar 2002.
She loved to sew, knit and crochet and playing pinochle.
