Charlie Benjamin Howard, 48, passed away on Thursday, October 19,2017 at his home. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Rivermont Baptist Church with Luis Miranda officiating.
Visitation will follow the service and other times at his home, 1518 Larry Loftin lane, Kinston. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Loftin Cemetery located at 1653 Elijah Loftin Road, Kinston, N.C.
Charlie was a loving and carefree person that enjoyed life, family and friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and never met a stranger. He worked as a electrician and enjoyed working with his hands.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Beth Loftin Howard; daughter, Kerry Howard; son, Cody Howard; grandson, Nathan Croom; sisters, Georgia Bulmer and husband John of Fayetteville, Tracy Sutton and husband Joey of Kinston, Theresa Basden of Kenansville; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Frances Howard; sister, Nell Taylor; brother, Billy Howard.
