Hattie is the daughter of James Logan Canaday and Mary Huddleston. Her mother died when Hattie was two and her father remarried.
Hattie is the sister of Lewis, James Riley, Martha, Charles, Sarah, Edward, Mary and Kitty.
She married James W Dix on 30 May 1895 in Albany, MO. They are the parents of Frank H. Dix.
Hattie was sent to the asylum from Laurel, MT in Yellowstone County.
She was in care here 22 yr 2 mo 11 days and her husband would file for divorce in 1941 while she was here. He would then remarry.
Her death at the asylum was attributed to chronic myocarditis.
