Rebecca "Becky" Lea Thrift-Parliman passed peacefully on October 15, 2017 in Raleigh, NC. She was born on September 21, 1950, the second of four daughters to Clem Rayborn and Virginia Lea (Ridgley)Thrift.

She is survived by her loving husband: Andrew Parliman, of Wake Forest; her father: Clem Thrift and his wife Kathryn, of Dallas, Texas; two sisters: Claudia Thrift and Deborah Hester, of Raleigh; two nieces: Jennifer Earp Helms (Brandon), of Charlotte and Natalie Earp Snapp (Nathan), of Clayton; and one nephew: Joshua Graham Hester, of Raleigh. In addition she leaves behind four great-nieces and one great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Lea Thrift and older sister, Bonnie Rae Thrift.

A private celebration of life will be held by her family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation be made in her memory to Becky's favorite charity at www.safehavenforcats.org.
