She is preceded in death by, her husband, Charles Ballard, and son Ricky Sanford Ballard and wife Brenda Thompson.
She is survived by her, son Charles Edward Ballard “Eddie” and wife Tammy Jo Ballard; daughters, Kathy Mae Ballard-Campbell and husband Robert Lee Campbell “Ron” and Caroline Joyce Ballard-Smith and the late Fred E. Smith; brother, Gordon Morgan; grandchildren, Tiffany Raegan, Ashley, Skyler and Timothy Ballard, April McKinney, Rhonda Smith “Amanda”, Regina Michael “Gina”, Alicia Johnson, Jackie West, Jamie Seals and numerous step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and numerous step-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 5PM until 7PM, with a funeral service following at 7PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 10AM in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
