Billie Jean Nix Jennings, 86, a homemaker, died October 18, 2017 at Merit Health in Batesville, MS. Graveside services are 2:00 P.M. Friday October 20, 2017 at Memorial Gardens in Clarksdale, MS with burial in the Memorial Gardens. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Jennings was a member of the Batesville Church of Christ.

Survivors include sons Marc Jennings (Cathy) of Batesville, MS and Marshall Jennings of Nancy, KY; daughter Maryan George of Clarksdale, MS; grandchildren Steven George (Michelle), Whitney Hutchins (Keith), Chris Jennings and Melissa Jennings and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Juanita Eubanks Nix.
