Bill Wayne Cook was born August 20, 1945 in Billings, Montana, to Clifford and Guri Ann (Iverson) Cook. He went to Heaven on October 16, 2017 in Billings, Montana.

Bill graduated from Winnett High School in 1964, then after going to VoTech School he worked many years as a mechanic, most of them at Musselshell Valley Equipment in Roundup, Montana. He retired from there in 2001.

Bill enjoyed bowling, evidenced by the trophies we find in his home. He also enjoyed fishing with his father and later with his many friends, Russ and Bud to name a few. For many years, Bill made candy of many sorts, fudge, caramels, divinity, and all were mouthwatering delicious.

He loved teasing his many nieces and nephews, all who remember that with joy. He had two little poodles, “Happy” and “Lucky” who were his constant companions in later years.

Bill is survived by sisters: Ilene (Bob) Patrick, Dayton, WA. Anita (Robby) Robinson, Spokane, WA, Pat (Jerry) Ashburn, Sacred Heart, MN; sisters in laws Jean Cook of Winnett, MT, and Judy Cook of Arizona. Nieces: Patty, Pam, Debi, Teri, Sally, Ronda and Karen; Nephews: Cliff, Tom and John.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Tom and Cliff, Jr.; and one nephew, Gary Robinson.

Bill is also survived by the special people at the Grand Bar, and many other friends.

Bill’s inurnment will be at Dove Tail where he grew up

Those who wish may give memorials to Lewtana Bible Camp, Roundup Ambulance or Charity of one’s choice through Wier Funeral Home.
