Susan Law Easley
August 19, 1948 - October 17, 2017

He who catches joy as it flies
lives in eternity’s sunrise.”
—William Blake

Our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend went to dance with the angels on October 17, 2017.

Susan was born August 19, 1948 in Axton, Virginia to the late Iris and Neal Easley.

She is survived by her three daughters and their partners respectively: Lori and Jason Moye, Tamara and Kevin Neal, Sara Cox and Mark Perry; grandchildren Katherine Colver, Marianna Moye, Caeden Eanes, Cori and Calli Neal; great-grandchildren Olivia, Caroline, and Henry Colver; grandson-in-law David Colver; and many special friends. She also leaves behind her dear sister Sandra Tate, nephews Bryan and Jon Tate, and beloved beagle Willow Grace.

Previously in her life, Susan was a licensed beautician and devoted her days to making others feel and look beautiful at the Upper Cut. She later worked at Hanover Direct where she met many lifelong friends. In her retirement, Susan spent time with her family and selflessly helped with the “littles” on a regular basis. She took great pride in and had unconditional love for her family.

A celebration of Susan’s life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Oakey’s South Chapel.

Flowers are appreciated and should you desire to do so a contribution to Forever Smiles Rescue or Angels of Assisi is also appreciated as she had a special place in her heart for animals.

She was our sunshine.
