Virginia Lee (Felps) Ender was born January 14, 1930 in Travis County and passed to a new life in Heaven on October 18, 2017 in Seguin, Texas. She was born to Louise Ellen Montgomery and Newton Henry Felps Sr. She grew up in the small community of Manchaca, just south of Austin, and graduated from Buda High School. She married Raymond Ernest “Jack” Ender on December 7, 1946.

Virginia and her husband “Jack” Raymond, raised their 3 sons in the South Austin / Manchaca area. She supported her husband and participated with him in Christian ministry for over thirty years, traveling to various states and countries. They moved to Seguin in the mid 1980's where they continued the “country living” that they enjoyed. Virginia was a faithful loving wife and mother. She was full of spunk and energy. She was an excellent seamstress and gardener. She enjoyed the outdoors which included many excursions to Colorado. Virginia was a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving Virginia are her sons: Ray L. Ender and wife, Alison (Adams) of San Marcos; Jack L. Ender and wife, Carolyn (Wallis) of Georgetown; Leo A. Ender and wife, Jeanne Marie (Krauel) of Seguin; 1 granddaughter Valerie (Ender) Skinner and husband Jim; 5 grandsons Brian Ender and wife Orieta (Cisternas-Salinas), Ethan Ender, Everett Ender and wife Stacy (McFerren), Eli Ender, Ezra Ender; 3 great-grandsons. She is predeceased by her husband, her parents, a sister, a brother, two grandsons and a great-granddaughter.

A memorial service celebrating Virginia's life will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lifegate Church with Rev. Robert K. Odom officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Private Interment will be held in the Staples Cemetery in Staples, Texas at an earlier date. Memorial contributions may be made to Lifegate Ministries, 395 Lifegate Lane, Seguin, Texas, 78155.
