Shirley was born in California and lived in Fort Stockton, Texas. She was the wife of Elder C.G. Gilmer, serving God for the majority of her life. She was a member of the Kerrville Apostolic Pentecostal Church, and was a prominent member of her community.
Shirley will be especially remembered for being a shining example of Christian Godliness, a loving wife and mother, and warm and giving Grandmother.
Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Trenna, and sons Daniel and David.
She is survived by her loving husband, Reverend C.G. Gilmer; son Howard and daughter-in-law Gina; grandchildren, David Gregg, Christy, Trina, Mindy, Brian, James and Genisa; and great-grandchildren, Carlie, Holly, David, Dakota, Kody, McKalynn, Mckenzie, Mariah, Bryson and Donovan.
