Mr. Bowers was born May 12, 1969 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and is survived by his parents, Ronald Lee Bowers and Lucille Stotler Bowers, of Stephens City, Virginia.
He graduated from Handley High School and attended Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy.
Working for Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, he was a Deputy Sheriff for 13 years and a K-9 Deputy with his best friend, Vasco, by his side.
He was a Civil War Reenactor and a former member of the Stephens City Fire & Rescue Company.
Preceding him in death are a brother, Ronald Lee Bowers II, grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Richard Stotler and Mr. & Mrs. Ralph and Bertha Bowers, and several aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 P. M. Monday, October 23, 2017 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, VA, with Pastor Mike Mayton officiating. Burial will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, VA.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
