After her marriage Lois raised her family and helped on the farm and milked cows. Lois loved to sew and often made clothing for her children. Later in life she worked at Crestview Care Center while doing all of her duties at home. After moving into Milford in 1994, Lois and Ferman were employed at Linden Village where she cooked, cleaned and looked after numerous residents.
