Mr. Quentin Singleton, age 64, of Rockmart, GA passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Quentin was born in Dallas, GA on March 21, 1953, a son of the late Forrest Singleton and Velma Mae Fennell. He was also preceded in death by brothers: Rex, Charles, Pat, Barry and Randy Singleton. He worked many years in the upholstery business and owned Singleton's Upholstery and Quentin's Wrecker Service. He always loved working on cars. He was also a member of the Aragon Volunteer Fire Department for several years. Quentin is survived by Donna Singleton and their children, Shandala Singleton and Matthew Quentin Singleton; one grandson, Camden Singleton; sister, Vickie Overstreet and brother, Dennis Singleton all of Rockmart. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Ely officiating. Interment will follow in Hills Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will include: Judson Childers, Terry Sorrells, Terry Easter, Billy Wills, Bill Singleton and Merle Renf. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home. The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mr. Quentin Singleton.
