WAKE FOREST -- Louise Wheeler Pearce, 82, of 658 E. Wait Ave., died Sunday morning at her residence. She was born in Franklin County daughter of the late Helen Frazier Wheeler and Joseph Wheeler . Mrs. Pearce was a retired Secretary with Burlington Mills.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon July 23, 2002, at Woodland Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Cook and Rev. Joannne Edwards officiating. En- tombment will follow in the Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Pearce is survived by her husband, Vernon Lee Pearce; a daughter, Brenda P. Ellington and her husband Robert of Wake Forest; two grandchildren, Stuart Ellington and his wife Joye of Middlesex and Tracey E. McGuyrt and her husband David of Wake Forest; three great- grandchildren, Rebecca Nichole El- lington, Gregory Joseph Ellington, and Corey Nicholas Ellington, all of Middlesex; sisters, Dorothy Ross and Daphine Mangum, both of Franklinton.

In lieu of flowers the family re- quests that memorial contributions be made to the Woodland Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 190 Wood- land Church Rd., Wake Forest, NC 27587.

Friends may visit with the family from 7-8:30 p.m. today at Bright Funeral Home and all other times at their home.
