Wilma Faye Woods
(December 7, 1936 - October 14, 2017)

On the bright and blessed day of December 7, 1936, a bouncing baby girl was born to Lillian O'Bryant and Ray Zachery in Houston, Texas. They lovingly named her Wilma Faye O'Bryant. With the blessing of being reared in a loving Christian home, Wilma accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. She was a member of Smith Memorial COGIC. Wilma worked for many years at HISD until her health declined. She always enjoyed spending quality time with her family and cooking.

Wilma made her final transition from this earthly life into eternal rest on Saturday, October 14, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Noble White, and sister Joyce Williams. She leaves to mourn four sons, Harold Craig O'Bryant (Latricia), Roderick O'Bryant, Keith Woods, Thaddeus Woods, and one sister, Linda Davenport (Jack), all of Houston, Texas; 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
