Eugene Riggs, 74, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2003. He was a retired warehouse manager for Kenway Distributors, a veteran of the National Guard and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, LaVerne Riggs. Survivors include a son, David E. (Cherie) Riggs; sister, Etta (Melvin) Morris; two grandchildren, Crissy (Brian) Walters and Kyle Riggs; and a special cousin, Becky Rickert. Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at family-owned Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Memorials may be made to WHAS Crusade for Children.
