L. Geneva (Rasco) Gill, 92, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on October 15, 2017. Burial will be at Cobb Cemetery.
Lillie Geneva was born in rural Limestone County, Texas, to the late Bernice Elam Rasco and Lillie Parilee Young Rasco. She graduated from Groesbeck High School. On March 20, 1954, while working at the VA in Houston, she married Samuel "Sam" Clifton Gill. They raised their children in Houston and Sugar Land. After her husband passed away and just before she turned 90, Geneva moved to Colorado where she enjoyed family, neighbors, friends and a beautiful home in Longmont.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Gill on May 20, 2008; brothers: Virgil, Grady, Walter, and Hubert Rasco: and sisters, Velma and Elaine.
Survivors include her children, Michael "Mike" Thomas Gill and wife, Debbie, Eva Patricia Gill, Paul Mark Gill, and Sammie Jones; grandchildren, Tiffany Smith and husband, Bryan, David Gill, Rob Jones and wife, Jaye, and Casey Jones and Gail Parker; great-grandchildren: Audrey Smith, Stephen Jones, and Sean Jones; several nieces and nephews; her dear friend, Kari Schoenwald, whom she considered her "other kid", and many other friends.
