David Alan Bragg, 53, passed away on October 13, 2017 after a lengthy battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

David was born on January 17, 1964, attended St. Therese Elementary in South Jackson and Wingfield High School, as well as Hinds Junior College.

He is predeceased by his wife, Lorraine Harris Bragg; father, James Joseph Bragg, Sr., and brother, James Joseph Bragg, Jr.

David is survived by his mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Bragg Winter; brother, Doug Bragg (Sandra), Florence; sisters, Paula Bragg McCormack, Stuart, FL and Laura Bragg Rabalais (Kerry), Madison; nieces, Shannon Bragg Dufour (Ben) and Audrey Anna Rabalais; and nephews, Jesse and Joseph Bragg, Anthony and Michael McCormack, and Jake Rabalais; as well as his companion, Ben the Cat.

David worked as an auto body repair technician and auto insurance adjuster until his illness rendered it impossible for him to continue.

David loved his family above all else, and was always ready with his pleasant personality and quick wit for everyone he met. He was an avid pet lover, especially Ben.

Visitation for David Alan Bragg will be Sunday, October 15, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Services will be held Monday, October 16, at 10:00 am, with visitation held prior from 9:00 until service time at the funeral home.
