Cheryl Darlene Blaylock, 70, of Winona passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford on Tuesday, October 17. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, at New Hope United Methodist Church in Winona.
Mrs. Blaylock was a retired employee of the Montgomery County Health Department and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She was a member of American Legion Post #52 and New Hope United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir. Mrs. Blaylock was devoted to her grandchildren and loved Elvis.
Mrs. Blaylock is survived by her husband, Charles R. Blaylock of Winona; daughter, Monica Mosconi (Jay Tharp) of Duck Hill; sons, Frank Caldwell (Michelle Hubbard) of Winona and Mark Blaylock (Sherry) of Vaiden; sister, Penny Nichols of Greenville; brother-in-law, Phil Blaylock (Mary); five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Pauline Guest Dees; and a sister, Clara Black.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church or to the American Legion Post #52 in Winona.
