Clyde Wayne Hunt, age 81, passed away Saturday September 30, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Clyde Hunt and Essie Stanley on May 29, 1936 in Broaddus, TX.
Clyde spent his career as a truck driver. He was a faithful simple man who work hard to provide for his family. Clyde’s family meant the world to him. Clyde loved going camping and fishing, whether it was with his late son Robert or his late dog Buffy, his fishing partner. He also loved his dog,  Boudeaux who he referred to as “My Buddy”. Clyde will be missed by all who loved him. His legacy will continue with his family.
Left to honor Clyde’s memory are his daughters, Donna Hayes and husband Barry of Jasper, Tx; Terri Hunt and husband James E. Zimmer of Jasper, TX; brothers, Uncle Jack and Uncle Donny both of California; sisters, Kathleen Lois Grant of Idaho and Mary of Washington State; 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren
Preceding Clyde in death is his loving wife of 45 years, Robbie Jettie Rash Hunt; his parents, Clyde and Lee Weaver Hunt; Essie Stanley and Bob Cort; son, Robert Wayne Hunt; daughters, Betty Elaine Hunt and Melissa Ann Hunt
Clyde’s Life Honoring Memorial Service will be held on Sunday October 8, 2017, 4 pm at Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 601 W. Gibson Jasper, TX. 75951 officiated by Brother Mike Neel. Inurnment Wilkerson Cemetery, Mauriceville TX.
