Gracie Claudine was born and raised in Mississippi. She was the daughter of Claude Jefferson Scott and Minnie L. Blount.
She married Neal William Price in 1943. Neal contracted tuberculosis and subsequently passed away. She lived for a while in Natchez, but ended up in Texas where she spent the rest of her life.
