Gwynn Dalton Zahn, 76, of Lubbock, formerly of Littlefield, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Lubbock. She was born November 30, 1940 in Littlefield to Loy and Lucy Dalton. Gwynn married Tony Zahn July 25, 1958 in Lubbock. Together they loved to travel, and have been almost everywhere. She was very creative, and loved to paint and do crafts. Gwynn liked antiques, and going to garage sales. She was a wonderful MeeMaw to her grandkids and her grand dogs, and her favorite thing was being with them. She was their secret keeper, their prankster, and was definitely the “fun” MeeMaw. Gwynn was a great friend, especially to her lifelong friends, Wanda Hemphill and Hazel Davis. She had a soft heart, and loved helping others. Gwynn is survived by her two sons, Joey Zahn and wife Beth of Lubbock; and Toby Zahn and wife Anita of Dry Prong, Louisiana; eight grandchildren, Kristi Viger and husband Erik, Josh Blakeley and wife Missy, Cameron Zahn and wife Amy, Steven Blakeley, Cory Zahn, Carli Zahn, Casey Zahn and wife Jaimie, and Christopher Zahn; ten great grandchildren, Eric, Cody, Riley, Rhett, Reese, Grace Ann, Colton, Levi, Cayden, and Landen; and a brother, Ronnie Dalton and wife Janiece of Littlefield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Zahn, May 3, 1997; and her parents. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Grace Chapel in Littlefield. A private family interment will be held later that afternoon. The family will receive friends Friday evening, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.
